When Ehu went to the Rainbow Bridge last year I received a beautiful floral arrangement from super supportive coworkers/friends. The sentiment on the card matched all the emotions I was feeling about the loss of our Ehu-chan who was 18 years 3 months at the end of her time with us. I knew I wanted to keep the arrangement to always remind me of Ehu's precious love for us and the love we had for her. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think of her. Having the arrangement pressed/preserved and hanging in our living room where we see it daily brings us lots of comfort and precious memories of the time we got to live with her. I told her that I wanted to send an actual “little piece of Hawai’i” to ohana on the mainland since we couldn’t be together for Christmas. She understood my vision and what I wanted the flowers to represent—Ua lā and Aloha ☀️❤️—and brought my idea to life beautifully. Communication was great. She worked VERY quickly to customize two hibiscus flowers with matching frames and sent pictures throughout the process to ensure I was happy. The finished pieces looked amazing. The care and consideration she put into highlighting the blooms’ natural beauty really showed. Now my loved ones have forever puanani that are meaningful, handcrafted, and connect us from afar.
